Floor Work Window Replacement
Early in the re-build. All new tanks are in place: Two aluminum 200 gal. Gasoline tanks located in same locations as former tanks, fore & aft; 100 gal. plastic domestic Water tank 100 gal. aluminum Diesel tank (for the Espar furnace/water heater) Located same bilge as water tank 100 gal. plastic Blackwater tank placed in same location as former tank 30 gal. plastic Graywater tank mounted under stboard side. Abeam of the tanks is underfloor storage and access to each bilge. The floor will be extended to butt up against the hull, which may add to the stiffness of the hull. Yellow Primer In Paint Barn
Sterling 2-part Yellow Primer on the bow. There will be two coats of primer, and two coats of the finish paint, sanded and rubbed between each coat. October 2005 Our boat in the Paint Barn. We first had the Hull painted, then for financial reasons, waited to paint the Cabin. November 2008
New Paint New Interior
New Paint portrait, showing new aluminum siderails, radius cornered windows (notice extra window stb side), new side doors, windshield, new flybridge windshield, 2' bowsprit, and radar arch. November 2010 Interior, looking forward through Galley. The port-side bench is aft of the oven will have a backrest that folds up to become an extension of the galley countertop. The overhead shelves were installed to be used for some storage but also as a handrail in turbulent seas. October 2011
