The "Royal Way" Equipment

  • 1. Engines - We have twin Crusader 270 inboards
  • 2. Prop diameter and pitch - 19x20 bronze three blade 1 1/4 shaft
  • 3. Transmission gear ratio - unsure
  • 4. Gas or diesel? - Gas
  • 5. Fuel tank capacity - 200 gallons (2 - 100 gallon aluminum tanks, which we removed and had cleaned and inspected professionally)
  • 6. Fresh water capacity - 150 Gallons in a single stainless steel tank
  • 7. Type of head - Dometic electric macerating head with 50 gallon black water tank located aft between the engines
  • 8. Rewired full electrical system with addition of separate house bank of batteries with over 1700 amp hours available
  • 9. Removed the old telex steering system and installed seastar hydraulic steering system
  • 10. 10 gallon torrid water heater with heat exchanger
  • 11. 4kw diesel forced air heater with tank located in the forward storage and unit located in the forward hatch
    to keep it completely removed from anywhere gas fumes could linger.
