Brian HarlowHi, there, I was just wondering if this site is still active. I just bought a 1974 CaH 40 called "Rumrunner" and have several questions re. Mtce, etc. Cheers. Brian. Yes. If you'd like photos of the "Rumrunner" posted, send them to me. Include anything you'd like printed. Send me your questions and I will forward to someone that might be able to help. Would it be possible for me to just go directly to the Website and just ask any questions directly instead of having to tie your e-mail site up each time? I would like to correspond with any CaH owners directly if possible, and find out if there are any in my area, which is Sacramento and Northern California. However, I'll take what-ever! Cheers....... I'm only an amateur web publisher and don't have the ability to configure the web page for that. Also the specialists that I deal with have asked me not to give out e-mail addresses. When the specialist is interested, he will e-mail you. Carl On 12/25/2019 11:05 AM, Brian Harlow wrote: Merry Christmas, Carl! Thanks very much for your reply. I guess I'll just put out a general question on the Web to any interested CaH owners and see if they reply. I don't know if there are that many CaH owners around any more, anyway. Greetings all, Cheers The Cruise-a-Home Owners website is still on line at: cruiseahome.com Carl Tenning On 3/1/2020 3:52 PM, Brian Harlow wrote: Greetings all, I'm the recent (6 mth) owner of a 1975 Cruise-a-Home 40 named "Rumrunner" which has gone through several owners over the years, but hopefully is now my new home, based in the Sacramento Delta, and which I'm trying to update and return to its former glory! Needless to say, I love the CAH series, and only wish my wife could be with me to enjoy cruising this beautiful body of water. We have been rag-boat sailors all our married life, but with her demise I felt I, with the help of my dog, could carry on alone and still enjoy the Marine life. Time will tell! Anyway, does anyone know where I can buy two Destroyer Steering Wheel center Inserts for the original CAH wheels as OEM items. The original center opening is approx. 3 1/4" dia., but the only ones I can find online are all 2 1/8" or thereabouts. For some reason the previous owners lost the originals and the wheels look naked, and unfinished. I've tried E-Bay but no joy there, so any help from the NW would be appreciated. Is this Website still active or has the CAH Community folded up its tents and retired? I'd sure like to see it re-activated! Cheers, Brian Harlow |
