I hope you’re doing well! I have a few 1973 31’ CAH questions. Do you know where the aft fresh water tank access is located? And, if that tank starts to leak, how is it removed/replaced? Also, is the fore/bow fresh water tank a “back up” tank for the aft tank? Thanks! Dena

Hi Dena,

The aft fresh water tank in my 31-footer was located on the center line just forward of the engine firewall. It was a pretty robust 65 gal. aluminum tank. I think that the outlet was a port at the top. Mine didn't have a bow fresh water tank, but it did have a 50 gal. plastic tank on the port side under the bed. I installed a separate pump for the plastic tank with an on/off switch.
